Hi, I’m
Florence KowalskI
Social Media Strategist, Copywriter, Yoga Instructor, and a lover of Japan and fine wine. Oh, and I fell head over heels for Vancouver at first sight!
My life and passions in two lines? That’s me in a nutshell. But let’s dig a little deeper:
꧁ 2012: I’m Deputy General Manager of a hotel group, feeling unstoppable.
꧁ 2014: After burnout, a tough divorce, and a loved one’s illness, I realize that health is our most valuable asset. I dive into self-care, rebuilding myself through yoga, massages, Bach flowers, and kinesiology.
꧁ 2016: Entrepreneurship calls, and I launch a spa consulting business to help hotels create wellness spaces.
꧁ 2016-2020: My passion fuels me to become:
- A certified Beautician and Massage Therapist in France,
- A Yoga and Meditation Teacher with French and American instructors,
- A Bach Flower Practitioner in the UK.

I start working with hotels and wellness centers as a freelancer, embracing this holistic approach.
❀ 2020: COVID halts my business growth. To keep moving forward, I adapt and work in hospitality. From 2020 to 2023, I’m a spa manager, massage therapist, and 5-star hotel receptionist—thriving in every role.
❀ 2022: I pivot back to my roots in digital marketing, diving into copywriting, SEO writing, and ghostwriting. I specialize in communications for hoteliers and wellness professionals.
❀ 2024: Thanks to my Italian chef husband, recruited by a top hospitality icon in Vancouver, we make our dream move to Canada a reality. I launch Omotenashi Social Media.
The future? Let’s write it together!
㊙︎ What drives me with Omotenashi Social Media?
For nearly a decade, I’ve been convinced that the greatest wealth isn’t in what we own, but in the experiences that spark positive emotions.
Today, my mission is clear: to help those who create these memorable experiences—hoteliers, restaurateurs, and B2B wellness professionals—amplify their impact and reach even more people.
It just makes sense, doesn’t it?

Why OMOTENASHI ?
“Omotenashi” is a Japanese word that embodies the art of hospitality, where:
The ultimate goal is to satisfy the client without expecting anything in return;
The customer experience must be nothing short of exceptional;
Listening, anticipation, and gratitude are non-negotiable values.
This is the experience my clients offer their customers, and it’s the experience I provide to mine.
It’s also an invitation to join me on a journey to my heart’s second home—Japan!
